The AceForm4.0 EU-project has released the final version of its first roadmap for design and production of formulated products. Formulated products pertains to for instance: steel, pulp and paper, food, pharmaceuticals, oil, lubricants, cosmetics, etc. The roadmap comprises a vision for the area as well as technological, organizational and sustainability challenges.

The aim of AceForm4.0 is to strengthen Europe’s leadership in the development and commercialisation of innovative sustainable formulated products by working with relevant stakeholders to establish a strategic roadmap, develop an associated implementation plan for 2025 and stimulating the creation of new collaborative value chains and partnerships in the context of the opportunities offered by industry 4.0 and the drive by Europe towards a circular economy.
Further, the project has also formed an interest group for formulated products, the EU Formulation Interest Group (EU-FIG), which can be of interest to join for parties involved in the area. More information is available at: https://formulation-network.eu/
